Are Botox® Injections Or Dermal Fillers Better For Facial Rejuvenation?
If you’re looking at the best ways to enhance and rejuvenate your appearance, you may have been told that injectables are the best option. There is often confusion between Botox® and other anti-wrinkle injections that use Clostridium Botulinum Type A (Botox® is a brand name for one such product), and dermal fillers.
What can they both treat?
To give you an overview, Botox® is generally more suitable for rejuvenating the upper third of your face – temporarily freezing some of the small, dynamic (frequently moving) facial muscles around your eyes, upper nose and forehead – while dermal fillers are more suitable for the lower two thirds of your face, adding volume to your cheeks, nasolabial folds, chin, and in and around your lips.
Facial enhancements
To achieve the facial rejuvenation you desire, and to help us enhance and balance your features, we might suggest a combination of injectable treatments, using Botox® to improve the overall symmetry of your face.
Anti ageing
Many clients find that, once they have better definition in and around their lips, for example, it makes them more aware of the signs of ageing elsewhere on their face. By using Botox® to achieve a subtle smoothing away of the fine lines and wrinkles around your forehead and eyes, or to treat chin dimples or lift your jawline, you can enjoy a younger, refreshed appearance.
Injectable treatments at Roseacre Dental
By choosing injectables for facial rejuvenation and opting for a practitioner who is well trained and experienced, the chances are that your friends will notice that you look great but they won’t be able to pinpoint what work you’ve had done. This is the ideal outcome because we want you to look natural and amazing, as well as refreshed and rejuvenated.
